EasySuri (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use the App. By using EasySuri, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following information solely for the purpose of providing the App’s features. Information you enter into the App is stored on your device and automatically backed up to our cloud service (see Section 3):
- User-Provided Data: Menstrual cycle dates, period type labels (Haid, Istihadah, Nifas), daily logs, notes, Qada tracking data, and any related information you choose to enter.
- Account Information: An account is required to use the App. When you sign in, we collect the email address you sign in with and an account identifier.
- Support Information: If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address and the content of your communication.
We do not collect device identifiers, precise location data, or personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide.
2. How We Use Information
Your information may be used for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App’s core functionality, including cycle tracking, reminders, predictions, and Qada Solat calculations.
- To provide backup and restore functionality, including using your sign-in email address and account identifier to associate your backup with your account.
- To personalize and improve user experience.
- To respond to user inquiries and provide customer support.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
For EasySuri 2.0, information entered into the App, including menstrual cycle records, period type labels, daily logs, notes, and Qada tracking data, is stored locally on your device and associated with your signed-in account.
While you are signed in, your tracking data — including cycle records, daily logs, notes, and Qada tracking data — is automatically backed up from time to time to Firebase Firestore, a cloud service provided by Google. Backup data is stored in an encoded, compressed format with an integrity check, and is protected by Google Cloud’s security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. When you sign in to the same account again, your backup can be restored to your device.
Your data is linked to your account. When you sign out, your local data is removed from the device; it can be restored from your backup when you sign in to the same account again. If you sign in with a different account, the App will show the data associated with that account; each account’s data is kept separate.
Apart from these backups, we do not store or retain your tracking data on our servers. Local data remains on your device unless you sign out, delete it, clear the App’s data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove it.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect information within the App. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
4. Data Retention
Your locally stored data remains on your device until you sign out, delete it, clear the App’s data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove it from your device. Signing out removes local data from your device, but your cloud backup is retained as described below.
For backups, we keep only your most recent backup: each new backup replaces the previous one in Firebase Firestore. Your backup is retained so that it can be restored when you sign in to the same account again, and is deleted when you delete your account. You may also delete your backup from within the App or request deletion by contacting us at the email below.
Support-related information, such as your email address and communications with us, may be retained only for as long as necessary to provide support, resolve your request, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. User Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access, update, or delete the information you have provided at any time within the App.
- Delete your cloud backup directly from within the App.
- Delete your account directly from within the App, which also removes your backup data.
- Stop using the App at any time, in which case no further data will be collected.
- Request data deletion by contacting us at the email below.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
